Might be a ram issue. download memtest86+ (http://www.memtest.org/) and boot from the cd, let it run and make sure you dont have faulty ram.

some items, including bookmarks and such can take a little time to load. open the item page or hanger and just give it a minute to see if the items load. sometimes they just take a little longer to be pulled up from eve, so if they show in assets ...
